About us

We are Junction Four Productions, a local theatre company and are available for all things theatre!

We formed in 1904 as Lytham Amateur Operatic Society (LAOS) and we're one of the original musical theatre groups on the Fylde Coast. With a rich tradition of classic and contemporary musical productions under our belts, we stage at least one musical performance per year and we also offer a full range of additional theatrical services to other local societies and schools.

​We decided on a name change in 2018 to reflect the way we were taking the society - we didn't want to be badged as just an "operatic society" as we perform a great number of different styles of shows and were looking for a newer feel. That is not to say we have forgotten our roots and history. We offer set design and construction, prop hire and our rehearsal spaces are available for private hire.

Our studios are based just off Junction 4 of the M55 where we have rehearsal rooms, a props store and a full workshop for building sets and scenery.

We are a registered charity and all donations are covered by Gift Aid as described by HMRC. At our self-contained studio and workshop we are a complete theatre package from performance to props, scenery to costumes with a studio (complete with tap-grade dance floor) and rehearsal space to hire.
