Hello
We are Junction 4 Productions. Established in 1904, originally as Lytham Amateur Operatic Society, we are one of the original amateur theatre groups on the Fylde Coast of the UK.
At our self-contained studio and workshop we are a complete theatre package from performance to props, scenery to costumes with a studio (complete with tap-grade dance floor) and rehearsal space to hire.
We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to perform with us, help with backstage elements or hire from our extensive collections of props and scenery.
Performance
We annually stage at least one show, usually at the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham but also at smaller venues around the Fylde Coast.
We have a rich tradition in musical theatre and when we we rebranded from Lytham Amateur Operatic Society (LAOS) to Junction 4 Productions in 2018 we had over a hundred shows under our theatrical belt.
We are looking to the future as a more contemporary theatre company diversifying into other areas of amateur drama with review shows and plays.

Rooms
Our recently refurbished main Rehearsal Room and smaller Club Room provide all the space you need for whatever you need! Whether it’s a dance rehearsal, drama class, acting workshop, meeting or choir practice, we can accommodate you.
Our Rehearsal Room with its professional grade tap floor, projection system and full audio suite allows you the flexibility of mixing media types with your room requirement.
The Club room with configurable bistro-style seating and smart TV is perfect for table read throughs and quieter meetings.
Both rooms have access to our fully equipped kitchen and toilet facilities.

Scenery
We can design and build custom-made sets to your shows specifications. From fixed sets to creative moveable structures, we can bring the stage to life!
We are competitively-priced and offer discount packages when hiring our props and scenery together.
Props
Big or small, we have it all!
Our extensive props department overflows with an eclectic collection of over 1200 props! There is something for everyone in this Aladdin’s Cave, that can furnish your stage and enhance any scene.
We have competitive rates and offer discounts for large orders. We also have show packages where you can hire props and scenery together.
Community
We care a great deal about our community and as a registered charity have people very much in mind. On Saturdays we run The Junctioneers group, an informal gathering where we meet to be creative, making props, scenery and other theatrical pastimes. A Bernard Breakfast is always available too, always an incentive for a morning’s work!
We are big onto mental health and often support such charity initiatives with drop in days and coffee mornings.
We have a thriving community arts project The Hub which caters for young adults with learning difficulties and their coming together in a creative space is a huge boost to their confidence and outlook.
